The Last Yellow Card

LoveShots 2026-10-07

Sophia Weber, one of Germany's only two female international football referees, has dreamed of officiating the men's World Cup since childhood. After correctly refusing a fake penalty from star striker Van der S in a World Cup qualifier, she is demoted and faces brutal sexism from those who believe a woman has no place on the pitch. Digging deeper, she discovers her ex-boyfriend Thomas, a ruthless agent, runs a massive match-fixing network behind the game. Risking everything, Sophia secretly investigates, gathering evidence against corrupt referees and officials. She then receives a surprise World Cup call-up, where she exposes the scandal globally. Later, she becomes a sports corruption investigator, dedicating her life to restoring football's integrity.
